After reading my first Sarah MacLean novel, No Good Duke Goes Unpunished, in November 2013, I vowed I’d read more of her novels and I’m sad to report I haven’t. I participated in the cover reveal for The Rogue Not Taken and when I read the synopsis, I knew this was a book I had to read! I’m so glad I got the opportunity to participate in the blog tour because I really enjoyed the book. It’s the first in a brand new series so you have plenty of time to read it before the next book comes out. We have great character development. Sarah MacLean is one of those historical romance authors I’ve been wanting to read, but haven’t had the chance to do so. When the opportunity came to participate in the blog tour, I knew this was my chance. MacLean’s No Good Duke Goes Unpunished is the third book in her The Rules of Scoundrels series. If you haven’t read the series, it’s perfectly safe to read No Good Duke without being exposed to spoilers. As for characterization, it’s a bit weak.
