Feature Follow #11: Favorite Literary Quote

June 20, 2013 Meme / Surveys 23

Feature and Follow Friday is a weekly blog hop hosted by Parajunkee & Alison Can Read. It’s a fun way to find other blogs and meet new bloggers.

You can follow Lit, etc via Twitter, Facebook, Networked Blogs, Bloglovin, or subscribe to the blog via email. Please let me know if you’re a new follower and I’ll follow back.

Q: Share your favorite literary quote!
I have so many, but this one by Charles Finch from A Stranger in Mayfair sticks because it’s so true! We cannot recapture the feelings of reading a beloved book or a series for the first time, but we can appreciate the friendships made by them!

What’s your favorite quote?

He writes Victorian mystery novels. I’d start with A Beautiful Blue Death since it’s the first in the series.

Charlie writes Victorian mystery novels. He has a contemporary coming out in 2014, The Last Enchantments, that he’s called his reimagining of a modern day Brideshead Revisited.

Aw, wow, I looooove that quote! It’s so true. I love it when friends of mine read books I’ve recommended, especially when they tell me while they’re reading it, how much they’re enjoying it. I always get so excited for them. πŸ˜€
