I can’t believe Summer Lovin’ is over! Boo! I had a lot of fun and can’t wait for the next one. So how did my progress go? I had hoped to start both Divergent and Murder as a Fine Art, but there were a few snags. I received notification from my library branch that Divergent was ready for pick up on Thursday so I went Friday and couldn’t find it on hold. One of the librarians helped me and turns out the branch it was coming from, there was a fire and the system must have sent out an email when they had to shut it down. Earlier that week a friend asked to borrow my copy of Murder as a Fine Art & I lent it thinking he’d be done with it by the end of the week and nope. I’d crack open my signed copy, but I don’t read from signed copies (more about this in a blog post later this week). What’s a girl to do? I substituted reads. Instead of Divergent, I read Megan Miranda’s Hysteria and now I’ve started Deanna Raybourn’s Silent in the Grave.
Books read: Once Upon a Tower, First Grave from the Right, & Hysteria.
Currently reading: Silent in the Grave
I’m happy with my progress and even if I don’t finish Silent in the Grave, it will be okay.
I met a lot of great new bloggers and if I don’t mention you-don’t take it personal, there’s so many of you who participated that I couldn’t keep up. High-five my fellow participants! I got to know Nikki from There Were Books Involved and Kim from YA Asylum a little better. I also met Ana from Anahera Reads, Book Bunny, and Jessica from Such a Novel Idea.
Really everyone who participated deserves a shout out especially the hosts because of the hard work they put into making this come together: Oh, Chrys!, Tumbling Books, Effortlessly Reading, Love Life Read, Shelf Addiction, Read Sleep Repeat, and Reviewing Wonderland.
The final challenge is Book Cover Guessing Game. I’ll fill this section out later in the day. π

Oh no! A fire?! That’s horrible π
Divergent is a good book – so I hope you get to read it soon. I have been meaning to read Hysteria. Loved Miranda’s Fracture!

Wow you had a lot going against this week! A fire and a borrowed book. I try not to read signed copies either, but sometimes it can’t be helped and I end up reading them really carefully.
Good job on all of your progress!
