I’m really excited to participate in the #TheShelfieHop! Hosted by Kristen @ My Friends Are Fiction and Crystal @ Bookiemoji
Okay everyone…my shelves are a bit um in disarray because I’ve recently lost major shelf space. Yes, my bookish friends you read that correctly. In May we had a major pipe burst under the foundation in my bedroom so most of my room was cleared. Then when I moved in back in, I acquired a queen bed (ugh disregard the mirror headboard-it’s my parents old bedroom set. Here I thought, I was going to get the new bed set in the guest bedroom, but no) and lost shelf and desk space. So what is a book lover to do? I had to really consider what books I wanted near me and which ones I was willing to box up and put in storage for the time being.
The books I decided to keep are my Charles Finch and Deanna Raybourn collection. You’ll see them around the shelves in a bit, but I also admit right now books and items are shoved in. Ah my poor Phantom nutcracker guards part of a shelf. Okay…so are you ready to see the mess of shelves I have?
Feel free to click on the pictures for a bigger image, but here we go.

So those are my shelves for now. I would modify the shelf dividers to make them equal but these aren’t my real shelves (those are in storage) so for now this will make do until I can get my stuff back.
What do your shelves look like? Please visit the bloggers who are showing their shelves! I can’t wait to see everyone else’s and judging from a few previews-wow, some of you have stunning shelf space!

I have a bunch of books in storage too and if I really think about it, I get sad and want ALL of my books to ogle! Happy reading! 🙂

OH NO about the pipe bursting that is just awful. I’m so sad for you. Please say no books were damaged? I hope you get your shelves back and make it even better than before. I love what you do have displayed. So pretty. Thank you so much for joining in the hop!
