Blog Tour: Review-Sarah MacLean’s Rogue Not Taken + Giveaway

After reading my first Sarah MacLean novel, No Good Duke Goes Unpunished, in November 2013, I vowed I’d read more of her novels and I’m sad to report I haven’t. I participated in the cover reveal for The Rogue Not Taken and when I read the synopsis, I knew this was a book I had to read! I’m so glad I got the opportunity to participate in the blog tour because I really enjoyed the book. It’s the first in a brand new series so you have plenty of time to read it before the next book comes out. We have great character development. Lady Sophie Talbot is the youngest of four sisters and they’ve been dubbed the “Soiled S’s.” Sophie didn’t grow up as an aristocratic-that came later in… Read more »

Book Riot Quarterly Box 3

Book Riot Quarterly Box 3

I’ve been wanting to subscribe to Book Riot’s Quarterly box since it was first announced. I forgot to sign up for the first box and by the time the second box was available to order, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to take a chance because I wasn’t wowed by the first box. If you’re wondering about the boxes, Stephanie over at Inspiring Insomnia has a great write up of the first and the second box. Ultimately, I did subscribe to the third book and thought it was an okay box. I’ll admit to being excited about the book theme and their reasoning for doing such a package. That being the books most people are a bit hesistant to try which included YA, fantasy, and romance. It’s a good idea,… Read more »
